1. Basic Definitions of the Terms and Conditions

1.2 The Buyer or Customer
Anyone who uses the Webshop service, i.e. registers on the www.glikol.hu website and places orders or makes purchases through this platform.
1.3 Shipping Provider Details
1.3.1 [Courier Company] delivers our goods under the terms of their own general terms and conditions, at the rates listed under the “shipping/payment” menu item.
2. Purpose of the Webshop Terms and Conditions
VETTÓ Kft has issued these Webshop Terms and Conditions to regulate in detail the conditions related to the Webshop service and its use, including the rights and obligations of both the provider and the buyer, and other material circumstances related to the Webshop service.
The Webshop Terms and Conditions set out the general terms of the legal relationship between VETTÓ Kft and the buyer. For matters not regulated herein, the applicable Hungarian laws and regulations governing the provider’s Webshop activities, as well as the provisions of the Civil Code, shall apply without separate stipulation.
2.1 Publication of the Webshop Terms and Conditions
Acceptance of the Webshop Terms and Conditions by the buyer is a prerequisite for using the Webshop service. Acceptance is deemed to have occurred when the buyer uses the service, i.e. completes registration.
2.2 Validity of the Webshop Terms and Conditions
VETTÓ Kft reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions in whole or in part at any time. Any amendment takes effect upon publication. The Terms and Conditions remain in force as long as the Webshop service is provided, and also apply to matters initiated before termination until those matters are closed.
3. The Webshop Service
VETTÓ Kft provides the Webshop service to buyers under the following conditions.
3.1 Territorial Scope of the Webshop Service
The Webshop platform is accessible from both within and outside Hungary due to the nature of the internet. However, VETTÓ Kft only accepts orders addressed to delivery locations within Hungary. Delivery to postal or other addresses outside Hungary is not available.
3.2 Data Required for Registration
Personal information: Last name, First name, Email address (for login), Mobile phone number, Password
3.3 Additional Data Required for Ordering
Shipping address: Postal code, City, Street name, House number
Billing address: Company name, Postal code, City, Street name, House number
3.4 Statement by VETTÓ Kft Regarding Data Storage
By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the buyer authorises VETTÓ Kft to store, archive and manage their data. VETTÓ Kft undertakes to handle such data confidentially, not to disclose it to third parties on the basis of the existing legal relationship, and to store it securely on its servers.
4. Formation and Modification of the Webshop Contract
4.1 General Characteristics
The contract is formed upon registration on the provider’s website and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Registration is required to make purchases in the Webshop. Orders are placed when the buyer gives final approval. VETTÓ Kft reserves the right to delete registration data that appears questionable or unintelligible and to declare any orders placed with such data invalid.
4.2 Registration
After providing their details during registration, the buyer is able to place orders. Buyers may browse and add products to their cart without logging in. By logging in with their username and password, buyers may then purchase the items they have collected in their cart. The purchase is completed by clicking the appropriate button on the website.
4.3 Modification or Cancellation of an Order
Pursuant to Act CVIII of 2001, the Webshop software immediately sends a confirmation to the buyer upon order placement. If this confirmation does not arrive within 48 hours, the buyer’s offer obligation ceases. VETTÓ Kft allows buyers to withdraw their order electronically up until fulfilment begins. Once fulfilment of the order begins, the buyer will receive an email notification confirming that fulfilment has started; after this point, the order may only be withdrawn in person (via the customer service contact details), which VETTÓ Kft’s customer service may accept or refuse based on the following guidelines:
- For cash-on-delivery orders, cancellation may be accepted for orders not yet handed over to the courier. If the courier has already collected the goods to be delivered from VETTÓ Kft, this right may only be exercised at the time of delivery.
- For card payments, cancellation follows the same rules as cash payments, with the provision that the transferred amount will be refunded within 30 days; however, any bank transaction costs incurred will be deducted from the refund.
4.4 Payment Terms
The buyer may pay for goods and services electronically (by bank card) at the time of ordering, in cash to the courier upon receipt, or by direct bank transfer to VETTÓ Kft’s account. VETTÓ Kft issues a receipt for cash payments. The buyer may accept the full order or refuse the entire order. If the buyer refuses to accept delivery of the order, VETTÓ Kft reserves the right to terminate the buyer’s registration and, at its own discretion, invalidate any orders placed by the buyer in the meantime.
VETTÓ Kft does not charge any fee beyond the cost it incurs for the chosen payment method.
4.5 Failed Delivery
The courier will attempt delivery twice within the standard delivery timeframe. After that, the buyer has a further 5 days to collect the goods from the designated postal collection point. If the buyer fails to do so, the order is declared invalid and deleted once the goods are returned.
4.6 Order Tracking
Customer service can provide information about the status of your order.
5. Rights and Obligations of the Buyer
5.1 Right of Withdrawal
The buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods and to return them to the provider in full within 14 days of withdrawal. Pursuant to Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), the cost of return shipping is borne by the buyer. To avoid disputes, a video recording is made of the unpacking of the returned package. The seller is obliged to refund the price of the goods, minus any verified costs, within 30 days of receiving the returned package. The right of withdrawal also applies during the period between placing the order and receiving the goods. In the event of withdrawal, the provider is not obliged to reimburse the additional costs of express shipping — only the standard shipping cost.
If withdrawal is not possible for a particular product due to its nature, this will be indicated separately in the product description.
A recommended withdrawal declaration template is attached. Use of a different form does not invalidate the withdrawal: the provider will consider the withdrawal valid as long as the intent to withdraw is clearly and unambiguously stated in the buyer’s declaration and withdrawal is possible for the product concerned, given its nature.
5.2 Possible Damages to VETTÓ Kft
If a returned item appears to have been damaged due to improper use, VETTÓ Kft may, under the above regulation, claim compensation for the resulting decrease in value from the buyer. As proof of any damage to the package, both parties mutually accept the video recording made by the Seller when the goods were unpacked.
5.3 Warranty
The seller’s warranty and guarantee obligations are governed by the Civil Code and Government Decree 151/2003 (IX. 22.).
5.4 After-Sales Services
Beyond customer service and statutory warranty, VETTÓ Kft provides any additional after-sales services (e.g. non-warranty repairs) under a separate individual contract.
VETTÓ Kft has not adopted a separate code of ethics (as permitted under the Act on the Prohibition of Unfair Commercial Practices against Consumers).
6. Data Protection and Data Security
6.1 Privacy Statement
During registration required to use the service, VETTÓ Kft records the following data about buyers: username, password (one-way encrypted), email address, name, address, and phone number. To facilitate delivery, VETTÓ Kft provides the following data to the shipping provider or its agent: order date, recipient name (from the delivery address), company name (from the delivery address), the full delivery address, order amount, order number, buyer’s phone number and other contact details.
6.2 Modification of Personal Data
Buyers may update or delete their personal data at any time via the Webshop’s user interface. The following data, however, cannot be deleted:
- Unique identifier
- Email address
- Phone number
- Password
- Change of name
- Unique identifier
Deletion of the registration can be requested by emailing info@vetto.hu or by calling customer service. The phone number is not a premium-rate number.
7. Closing Provisions
7.1 Provisions Regarding Distance Contracts
No written contract is drawn up for these terms; VETTÓ Kft does not register them. An exception may apply to customers with whom the majority of purchase transactions are not conducted electronically.
7.2 Termination of the Legal Relationship
The Terms and Conditions remain in force as long as the Webshop service is provided, and also apply to matters initiated before termination until those matters are closed. The buyer may request immediate termination of the contract at any time, provided there are no ongoing transactions and neither party has outstanding claims. Upon verification of the buyer’s identity, we will accept this request and terminate the buyer’s access to the shop by deleting their registration.
VETTÓ Kft reserves the right to unilaterally terminate the contract in justified cases due to the buyer’s inappropriate conduct.
7.4 Limitation of VETTÓ Kft’s Liability
VETTÓ Kft accepts no financial or moral responsibility for misuse caused by the user’s own negligence (e.g. disclosing a password to a third party).
Guarantee and Complaints
We guarantee the quality of our products to the extent required by law. If a product is proven to be defective, VETTÓ Kft will naturally offer a refund or replacement guarantee, including reimbursement of shipping costs or free delivery of a replacement product.
The buyer is entitled to submit complaints or observations in writing to the seller. The seller is obliged to investigate the complaint within 3 days and notify the buyer in writing of the outcome and any further steps.
In the event of a legal dispute, the consumer may refer the matter to a conciliation body. The competent conciliation body for VETTÓ Kft is the one operating alongside the relevant regional chamber of commerce and industry.
